With most Wise cards, you can receive money by using your 16-digit card number.
It's currently not available for Wise cards issued in Japan and Wise Multi-Currency cards issued in the US.
What currencies can I receive?
You can receive any of the 40+ currencies that you can hold in your Wise account. But if you receive a non-supported currency, we'll simply credit it in the default currency of your card.
You can't receive money from gambling or betting institutions.
How long will it take for the money to arrive?
The money should arrive in just a few seconds, but depending on the sender's bank, it might take longer.
If it does take longer than you expected, ask your sender to reach out to their bank for details.
What are the limits for receiving to my Wise card?
For AUD, BGN, CAD, CHF, CZK, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, HUF, ILS, JPY, MXN, MYR, NOK, NZD, PLN, RON, SEK, SGD or USD:
4,000 EUR per transaction and per day
20,000 EUR per month
For any of the other 40+ currencies you can hold in your Wise account:
300 EUR per transaction
500 EUR per day
1,000 EUR per month
The limits will be the equivalent in the currency you're receiving.
Refunds
Refunds will arrive in the currency your sender sends it in.
Our support team will never ask for your card number. Never share your card number with an unsolicited caller, including your CVV, PIN, OTP (one-time password), or Internet Banking User ID & Password.
