What is a 0 interest business credit card?

An interest free business credit card works like a regular business credit card, but will waive the interest cost for a set period. This may be a fixed period every statement, or it may be set up as an opening offer which then expires after you’ve had the card for a while.

How do interest free business credit cards work?

0 APR business credit cards usually have no interest only for a fixed period, and only on purchases. Generally balance transfers and cash withdrawals or cash-like transactions are not covered by the zero interest offer. You’ll need to review the terms of your card carefully before you start to transact to make sure you’re very confident of how the offer works for your business needs.

How can businesses benefit from interest free cards?

A UK business can benefit from zero interest periods on a credit card as it gives a little longer to manage cash flow and ensure you can comfortably manage your repayments. This makes it less likely that you’ll run into interest charges or accidentally end up saddled with penalties if your finances are tight in one particular statement period.
