How to solve this problem: Alipay you've made too many attempts?

Check that your internet connection is working and make sure your account and password are correct. If all are fine, you may trythe following ways to fix the problem.

Solution A -- if you are unable to sign up

  1. Wait 5-10 minutes and try again later.
  2. If it still reminds you, “You've made too many attempts, please try again later”, it is recommended that you contact Alipay customer service in order to solve the problem in time.

Solution B -- if you are unable to log in

  1. You can try to reset your Alipay password
  2. If you forget your original password, you can verify it by entering your online banking or bank card number using the secure keyboard.
  3. Reset your password and try to log in again.

If you still can't log in after resetting your password, you can try calling Alipay's customer service hotline at 95188 (Alipay overseas customer service hotline: +86 057126886000)

**Solution C -- if you enter the wrong password **

If you make three consecutive wrong payment passwords, your password will be locked, but it will be unlocked automatically after 3 hours.

If you need to unlock it immediately, you can retrieve your password, and there are five ways¹:

  1. Retrieve a password by mobile phone: This applies to accounts linked by mobile phone.
  2. Answer the security protection question.
  3. Follow the email instructions to retrieve.
  4. Fill in the ID number through the mailbox: An email will be sent to your Alipay account mailbox. you need to follow the mailbox prompts to retrieve your password.
  5. Alipay manual customer service: an email will be sent to your Alipay account mailbox. You need to fill in the relevant identity information according to the mailbox prompts submitted to customer service within 48 hours to verify the counter-processing.

Solution D -- if your Alipay account is frozen³

  1. Login to your Alipay app.
  2. Click “Me” - “Setting” - “Account and Security” - “Security Center”.
  3. Click “Restrictions” and follow the prompts.

Solution E -- if your Alipay account is frozen³

  1. Open the Alipay official website: http://www.alipay.com, and log into your account.
  2. According to the system prompt "You have requested to freeze the account, if you need to unfreeze, please apply for self-service unfreezing by mobile phone". If you have left your valid mobile phone number during the active freezing, you can click “Mobile Phone Application for Self-service Unfreezing” and follow the prompts to continue the operation.
  3. Enter your Alipay account name, then enter the mobile phone number at the time of freezing and click “Next’.
  4. Enter the verification code received by your mobile phone and click “OK”.
  5. Your Alipay account will be unfrozen successfully.
