The Altiris Developer Program is a subscription-based program that provides SDKs, support services, and developer communities to help Altiris customers, partners, and ISVs leverage and extend the award-winning Altiris service-oriented architecture.
Altiris Customers and Business Partners
The multifaceted Developer Program is designed to help Altiris customers, partners, and ISVs extend the value of Altiris solutions through a centralized community with access to developer forums, Software Development Kits (SDKs), technical support and training, and supplemental documentation.
Intersection of Communication
Through the Altiris Developer Program, Altiris customers and business partners gain access to the Altiris Developer Portal. The Altiris Developer Portal provides a centralized source of content and resources, including the latest SDK and documentation updates, a library of frequently asked questions, and supplemental sample code and documentation. The Developer Portal is also home to our developer-oriented forums, enabling administrators and developers to post questions, review answers to common topics, share code, and interact with peers such as other Altiris customers or business partners.
Software Developer Kits
SDKs are at the core of the Altiris Developer Program. Altiris offers two SDK options for Altiris customers and business partners to integrate Altiris solutions with third-party or homegrown applications, extend their current Altiris investment, or rapidly develop unique solutions using the Altiris service-oriented architecture. The following SDKs provide a code library consisting of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Command Line Interfaces (CLIs), Web services, and other programmatic interfaces for the Altiris Notification Server and related Altiris applications:
- Administrator Software Development Kit (ASDK) helps Altiris customers and business partners automate and configure Altiris solution functionality, create process-based connections to third-party and homegrown applications, or leverage Altiris functionality from homegrown Web applications.
- Solution Developer Software Development Kit (SSDK) helps business partners or ISVs build unique solutions or extend existing applications on the Altiris service-oriented architecture.
Customer Service Offerings
A wide range of support, consulting, certification, and assistance options are available through the Altiris Developer Program. Electronic and phone support options are available and our highly skilled consulting staff can travel to your location and provide you with valuable, situation-specific advice and expertise.
